Dates, Location, and Public Access to PUC Hearings for the Proposed Change of Control of the Hawaiian Electric Companies to Nextera Energy

The Public Utilities Commission began its formal evidentiary hearings on issues related to the proposed change of control of the Hawaiian Electric Companies[1] and NextEra Energy filed in Docket No. 2015-0022 on November 30, 2015. The Commission recessed its hearings on December 16, 2015. The Commission will resume its formal evidentiary beginning on February 1, 2016.

The formal evidentiary hearings are open to the public. Dates, times and location are as follows:
